Creating an account

Setting up your ShiftNest account only takes a few minutes. The process varies slightly depending on whether you’re registering as an Agency or a Facility, but both follow a simple guided setup to ensure your workspace is ready to use.

1. Go to the Sign-Up Page

Visit app.shiftnest.co.uk/signin and click Sign In. You can also reach it from the main website by selecting Get Started or Sign In in the top-right corner.

2. Tell Us How You Heard About ShiftNest

Select how you found out about ShiftNest. Options include Google Search, Social Media, Referral, Conference/Event, or Online Advertisement.

3. Choose Organisation Type

You’ll be asked to select your organisation type:

  • Agency – to manage staff, linked facilities, and billing.

  • Facility – to post shifts, review timesheets, and manage workforce coverage.

4. (For Facilities) Choose Facility Type

If you selected Facility, you’ll be prompted to choose your facility type such as Care Home, Hospital, Supported Living, Academy, or College. This helps ShiftNest tailor your dashboard and reporting.

5. UK Registration

Confirm whether your organisation is based and operates within the United Kingdom. This ensures the correct regional setup for billing and compliance.

6. Add Organisation Details

Enter your organisation’s details, including:

  • Organisation Name

  • Mobile Number (optional)

  • Landline Number

  • VAT Number (if applicable)
    This information appears on invoices, internal records, and your dashboard.

7. Review and Complete Setup

Review the details entered, read and accept the Terms of Service, then submit your registration. You’ll receive an email to verify your account before you can log in.

8. Verify and Access Your Dashboard

Open the verification email and click the link to activate your account. Once verified, you can log in at app.shiftnest.co.uk/signin to access your dashboard.
